My girlfriend bought a new car in a week (time period from having the idea of a new car until she actually picked a model and made the order). The most important car attribute was that it had to be pretty enough.

I've spent few months for the same task searching for the best power/consumation/quality ratio (there were actually other important attributes I was searching for). She was teasing me all the time about my "PhD Degree in buying cars".

On the other hand, she spends an eternity picking the right shampoo at the store ... I have to be patient, though ... she's the one who knows better about shampoos and cars, after all she's got a prettier one.

This is the way I like to think of my last LCD's pixel death.
He certainly died prematurely and I won't be able to forget it soon. A bright shining star which occupies his place on my dark desktop will always remind me of him.
